You don't have to have room for whole shelves or drawers full of plants to enjoy some greenery in your home. You can always repurpose an old glass teapot and turn it into a terrarium. Wine drinkers have a ready source of planters with just a little work. You can take your empty bottles and cut them in half with the help of an inexpensive glass cutter. You need to sand the raw glass edges before inverting the top bottle half and placing it inside the bottom half. Adding some soil and plants gives you an instant planter.<br />

Gardeners interested in something a little more complicated could create a jungle planter suspended from the bathroom ceiling. A wooden box, fiberglass screen, chicken wire, and chain are the basic supplies needed. Once completed, your plants will thrive in the humid atmosphere. You can have your own personal rain forest right inside your house.<br />

It is possible to enjoy plants and gardens all year round. You just need some imagination. Gardening indoors may not be as satisfying as digging in the dirt outside, but can be a good substitute until spring arrives.<br />
