The final step usually involves edging. Edging entails building of edge restraints. Edge restraints have to be installed prior to final compaction because they maintain the pavers in place. The joints are filled with jointing sand and then compacted using a compactor. One should ensure all the joints are completely filled. The area is then cleaned after the last pass of the compactor.<br />
