Another instrument called the line scrub brush is used in order to remove anything that may have settled on the lines. Finally, the surface has to be made compact by pushing a roller over it. It is important that you sprinkle water prior to these maintenance measures so that additional cracking can be avoided.<br />

Finally, we see grass courts. They are also seen in many countries, and are really hard and expensive to maintain. That is because the grass should be cultivated and nurtured so that it achieves an even growth. If not you will not receive the necessary texture. Having depressions or slants on the surface will affect ball movement significantly.<br />

For the ball to bounce, the grass must feel firm and dense. Roots of the grass have to gain proper depth and density before played upon. In the winter, the height of grass should be maintained around 12 to 15 millimeters.<br />

When it is time to play, the grass has to be cut down to around 6mm to 8mm. Earthworms may affect growth swell. Something called drag brushing is done to remove any earth worms that may exist.<br />
<br />
Around March, a bit of fertilizer should be introduced while using a roller on the grass so that it becomes compact. No matter what type of court you have, if you notice that the lines are erased, especially after mowing grass courts, you should repaint them.
