We have many different occasions where people come to celebrate. During the celebrations, people decorate their houses and tidy up the environment. One of the common festivals celebrated all over the world is Christmas. During this period, Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus and it is only once. Both kids and adults get to enjoy themselves. They get tree skirts for decorations.

There are some common practices carried out by almost everybody during such an event. One of such practices includes cutting shrubs from vine trees and shaping them well by even making a stand for them. They are then decorated colorfully. These decorations come in various types and colors all in a bid to bring out the best. Ribbons are also used and they too have various colors and designs. Ribbons are tied on the shrub to give a symbolic meaning and a colorful event. However, not any shrub can be used for these celebrations. You need one with green leaves and not with dry ones.

It cannot stand on its own so it will need a support or a stand. The support can be made of wood, plastic or metal but must be heavier than the shrub itself to ensure that it does crates stability for the rest of the shrub. The stand has a cove that is usually made of cloth. The clothes have advanced with time and now there are very many designs of the same cloth.

You can either make this shrub by yourself or buy it from a shop. However there are things you should put into consideration before making or purchasing the bush. The first thing is size. The size of a shrub matters a lot. Some stands are too large and bulky, for that reason you have to make sure that they cover well the shape of these shrubs.

Their twigs are usually cut into proportional lengths so that they do not remain too big. Having shrubs with too big twigs might cause distraction especially to people walking around the decoration and this might cause accidents. Therefore, consider trimming such twigs to also give a desired look. They are also trimmed to fit sizes and designs of a user with an aim of getting rid of sharp edges. Place it in a corner or a strategic place away from a path to avoid distortion that may lead to accidents.

The cone or the tip of a shape can be covered with a fabric. The fabrics are made of different colors. Common colors used are green, red and white. The fabrics are made circle in shape to ensure that they fit well on the cone shape shrub.

The theme of this festival should also be represented in the bush. The cloth covering the shrub should be also match the theme. Some common themes include snowmen, angels and Santa Claus. The house should also match the theme to make the festival more attractive.

Buying or making tree skirts is not an expensive venture. You just need to purchase an affordable one so you do not miss out the fun that comes with these decorations. Some are also manufactured to resemble a real shrub.
