<div class='uawarticle'>The number of unemployed people is a matter that is not talked about by the politicians in a truthful way. Some political talking heads will say that the number of unemployed is simply because of the aging of the population. Others will make you think the problem is not so bad. When you ask the question about <a href="jobenomicsblog.com">how many Americans are unemployed</a>, you have to weight through a lot of specious talk.<br />

The short answer to the question is, of course, too many. Taking a look at how this number is computed is very telling. The unemployment rate is based, of course, on how many people are looking for work and how many people are actually working. The math involved reduces this to a mixed number, with what is called full employment being four percent.<br />
<br />
The number of all people looking for work and the total number of people actually working creates the number that is currently, supposedly, sitting at five point one percent. Unfortunately, this administration and, to a lessor degree, probably most other recent administrations flub the numbers in a number of ways. One of those ways is to over estimate the number of jobs created.<br />
<br />
One of the other methods is to under estimate the numbers of people who are still looking and not finding work. The idea behind this lie is that any administration will look better if there is robust job creation going on. They believe that enough people believe that government can actually create anything more than more government jobs.<br />
<br />
The government are the ones who are reporting these numbers. There is a big problem if they can not be trusted to report them accurately. Must distrust comes from the fact that not all facts are utilized by the government counters. There is a very large number of people who have quit looking for work, for a lot of reasons, and are not counted as unemployed, although they still want work.<br />
<br />
The economy is such, now, that there are not a lot of jobs available. This is due to an entire federal administration that has no idea how companies create jobs. They believe that they are the ones that can do this by mandating that jobs just appear. This supposedly happens after massive tax increases which actually kills jobs, it does not create them.<br />
<br />
Depending on who you ask, there is about 95 million people officially out of work in the United States. When you factor this number into the population of approximately 330 million, minus those who are not of working age, you get a number that is about at the five point one level they report. Again, these are numbers they put together, so no one knows what is really going.<br />
<br />
Full time jobs have been redefined down from 40 hours per week to 32. This has condemned many people to having to go on food stamps, or SNAP. It also means accepting alternative housing, such as living with their parents, again. So getting an answer about this subject from the government does not give you an accurate picture of the situation.<br />
