Hoaxes In Online Jobs

by George Dodson

Many people are living without a job as the economy is going down. People look for other options when the regular job market becomes difficult to deal with. Online job market has become very popular nowadays. There are people who are earning a lot from the online jobs and so are concentrating on the online jobs for a full time basis. As a result, scammers have gotten into the act.

Some websites were designed to monitor online scams. They report that scammers produced 550 fake websites in 2009 focused on fleecing people. Most of the sites were opened in the US. It is now 2012. Do you have an idea how many more have come up now?

If you are looking for work online how will you be able to detect a fake site? Are there any telltale signs that will help you stay safe. It is difficult to identify most of the online scammers. They have learned what job seekers are looking for and they provide it. A lot of professional copywriters, graphic designers and even fake reviews are provided to deceive the people. Legitimate web sites are also not safe from these scammers.

There are some telltale signs that you can look for. At the beginning look at the website carefully. Does it look right? Is everything looking fine? Check the originality of the email. See whether it is from a corporate domain rather than Gmail or Yahoo. Is there anything that you are finding strange? Are they only using web names to draw the attention of the people.? Do they sound to good to be true?

Try to collect more information about the company in BobBear.co.uk. Look for complaints from others about this site. Does the company you are checking on, pop up here as a fake or scam?

If they ask for your personal details then they are probably a scam. Is the company trying to convince you that they are legal, with words such as 100% legal? They are not.

If you are going to get a job online, you want to make sure you do your homework. Legitimate companies only need your name and email to begin with. The scam websites can be of great help for you.

Follow these steps to make your search for jobs easier and safer at the same time. Before filling up online forms always make sure to have a thorough check.
