There are many reasons for this and if you are someone who wants to find out why this is the case, you might want to consider holidaying there. If you are looking to go on cheap holidays in France, there are a number of things you should consider.<br />

Your number one consideration will be where exactly you want to go. This will obviously depend on what sort of places you want to see and what sort of holiday you are looking to have. If you are looking for culture and history, then visiting one of the many cities and towns is a great option.<br />

If, however, you are looking for more of a beach or summer holiday, then heading down to the south of France where you will get some fantastic stretches of coast is a superb option. Of course, the Alps also are situated within France, and this gives the option of going on ski holidays as well.<br />

Your next consideration is going to be how you are going to get there, and there are a few different options that you might want to consider depending on your budget. If you are travelling a long way then find there is going to be your only option, and if you are flying from Europe there are some very reasonably priced shorthaul options.<br />

However, you may also want to drive to your location. This might be a good way to save money depending on how far you have to go, and you may also want to stop over at a different location during your journey in order to taste a little bit more of what France has to offer. If you are travelling from Great Britain, you also have the option of using the Channel Tunnel which is a very efficient way of getting straight into Paris and beyond.<br />

Lastly, you will need to know what you are going to do once you get to your destination. As such you should conduct some research into all of the nearby sites and activities that you can see and do, and make a list of your favourite options.<br />
